ADMISSION & REGISTRATION

Admission of students into Ardence International Secondary School is dependent on satisfactory entrance assessment results, the outcome of the interview session, and available places.

 

A letter of offer will be presented, the confirmation of which is also based on the belief that the student will benefit from the curriculum offered. There will be a validity duration or expiry of the offer letter amounting to 30 days only. 

 

All fees must be fully settled and an official receipt produced for the registration process to be completed.

STEP 1 - MAKE AN APPLICATION

Admission into Ardence International Secondary School is by assessment and interview.
Submit an Admission Form together with the following documents to the Admission Department at the Registration Office:

Malaysian Applicant

  • Three (3) recent passport-sized photographs of student (with light blue background)

  • A copy of student’s birth certificate

  • A copy of student’s MyKid / MyKad

  • One (1) recent passport-sized photograph of both parents

  • A copy of parents’ passports or ICs

  • A copy of previous school report

  • A copy of school leaving certificate

  • Student’s medical certificates / immunization record

International Applicant

  • Eight (8) recent passport-sized photographs of student (with light blue background)

  • A copy of student’s birth certificate / Family Certificate (English Version) / Notarial Certificate

  • A copy of student’s passport

  • Four (4) recent passport-sized photographs of both parents (with light blue background)

  • A copy of parents’ passports or IC / Notarial Certificate

  • Parent’s marriage certificate (English Version) / Notarial Certificate

  • A copy of parents’ visas (if relevant)

  • A copy of parent’s work permits (if relevant)

  • A copy of parent’s confirmation of employment letter

STEP 2 - ENTRANCE ASSESSMENT

Online Placement Test (Entrance Assessment)

 

Once the completed Admission Form with the required supporting documents is submitted, the applicant will be scheduled for the Placement Test / Entrance Assessment.

 

The assessment will be conducted online via tablet/desktop computer comprising English Language, Mathematics and Science that will last two (2) hours for Secondary.

 

The purpose of the entrance assessment is to evaluate the strengths of the applicant in basic subjects, in particular, the competency of English Language to easily enable the applicant to access into the full curriculum which will be conducted in English.

STEP 3 - APPLICATION REVIEW & OFFER OF PLACE

Assessed applications will be reviewed taking into consideration various factors, including the results of the assessment, school reports, subject options at IGCSE/IB Diploma, English language ability level, child's behaviour and availability of places. The School reserves the right to assign priorities for admission or refuse admission for any reason we deem fit. Where places are insufficient, applicants remain on the queue. 

 

If the application is successful, an offer of place will be made. An offer of admission to the school is also based on the belief that a child will benefit from the curriculum offered and that his/her admission will support the education of existing students. 

STEP 4 - ADMISSION

Upon receiving payment or letter of financial guarantee, which confirms an acceptance of offer, the School will communicate the start date of your child.

Admissions department will provide details for their first day at the School.
