KEY STAGE 4 (YEAR 10 & 11)
The students of Ardence International Secondary School follow internationally benchmarked programs similar to the National Curriculum for England appropriately modified for international students.
The curriculum is in line with the programmes of the UK International Curriculum that are appropriately modified for international students. This enables all students to receive the support necessary for them to make the most of related challenges for effective academic progress to achieve their potential.
Students follow a full range of courses leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education examinations. These examinations are internationally recognized as the basis for further education and training.
The UK international assessments take place at the end of the Key Stage 4 course of study and can include written, oral, coursework, and practical assessments. This broadens opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning, particularly when their first language is not English. In many subjects there is a choice between core and extended curricula, making the International Examination Board suitable for a wide range of proficiency levels.
