Ardence Achievers Scholarship 2024
“Paving the Path to Success”

Terms & Conditions

(a) Eligibility Criteria
The Ardence Achievers Scholarship 2024 is open to students seeking admission to Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, and Year 10 at Ardence International Secondary School.


(b) Scholarship Types
The scholarship offers two categories:

  • Single Excellent Core Subject Scholarship

  • Three Excellent Core Subjects Scholarship.

(c) Single Excellent subject scholarship

  •  A student who achieves exceptional academic performance (Ardence Admission Assessment) in one of the three core subjects (English, Mathematics, or Science) is eligible for a 10% discount on their tuition fee.

  • The student must maintain a minimum grade of A (80 marks) in the chosen excellent subject throughout the academic year to retain the scholarship.

(d) Three Excellent Core Subjects Scholarship

  • A student who excels (Ardence Admission Assessment) in all three core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science) is eligible for a 50% discount on their tuition fee.

  • The student must maintain a minimum grade of A (80 marks) in all the excellent core subjects throughout the academic year to retain the scholarship.


(e) Scholarship Obligations

  • Scholarship recipients are expected to actively participate in various school events, programs, and extracurricular activities throughout the academic year.

  • Scholarship recipients must take leadership roles in at least one school-related activity or club during the academic year.

  • Scholarship recipients must develop and demonstrate their public speaking skills through participation in school assemblies, seminars, or other relevant events.

(f) Application Process

  • Interested students must complete the regular admission process for the respective year they are applying for at Ardence International Secondary School.

  • To apply for the scholarship, students should submit an additional essay detailing their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, leadership experience, and a statement explaining their interest in the scholarship.


(g) Selection and Notification

  • Scholarship recipients will be selected based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, leadership potential, and essay submission.

  • The scholarship selection committee will review all applications and notify the chosen recipients by email.

  • Selected recipients will receive further instructions on how to proceed to secure the scholarship.

 

(h) Scholarship Duration and Renewal

  • The scholarship is awarded for one academic year.

  • To renew the scholarship for the following year, recipients must meet the requirements specified in sections (c) or (d) and (e).

 

(i) Revocation of Scholarship

  • The scholarship may be revoked if the recipient's academic performance, behaviour, or adherence to scholarship obligations is deemed unsatisfactory by Ardence International Secondary School.


(j) Legalities

  • The decision of the scholarship selection committee is final and cannot be appealed.

  • The scholarship holds no cash value and is non-transferable.

  • Ardence International Secondary School reserves the right to modify or terminate the scholarship program anytime.

  • By applying for the Ardence Achievers Scholarship 2024, applicants and their legal guardians acknowledge that they have read and understood the above terms and conditions.
